Frequently Asked Questions + General Advice

What kind of payment do you take?

Cash, check or Venmo

To talk or not?

I want my clients to focus on their breath and sometimes I’ll remind them to breath deeply, relax and let go. I enjoy softly providing positive affirmations and can provide guided meditation during the massage to uplift your spirit.
Ultimately it’s your personal preference. Do you find that talking helps you to relax or does it make it more difficult for you to focus on the massage?
Always give feedback when needed and if you need more or less pressure. My goal is to give you the the massage you deserve and communication is key. I want you to feel amazing, relaxed and nurtured when you walk out my door.

Modesty – do I undress completely?

No, you do not have to undress completely for a massage. The amount of clothing you remove is up to you and your comfort level. Some people keep their underwear on during a massage, while most of my clients prefer to be nude. It’s up to you. You will always be covered with a sheet or blanket during your massage and I only uncover the area of your body that I am working on. As well, I step out to give you privacy to undress and dress at the beginning and end of each session.

How long is it going to take?

My massages are 60 or 90 minutes and that’s the time you are on the table for the session. I also provide time at the beginning to discuss your needs and preference as well as time to change. It’s advisable to allocate time for you to fully relax and not be rushed.

Should I eat before a massage?

Big meals should be avoided, but a light snack to prevent hunger is perfectly fine.

Should I drink water before or after my massage?

Yes! It is important to stay hydrated every day. Water is provided for you in my waiting room for before or after your massage.
